Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of Draft. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use Draft on behalf of an organisation, you agree on its behalf.
2. What Draft is
Draft is a system of record and workflow tool for governed change-control during a vessel’s yard period. Draft is not a party to any contract between the yard, owner, captain or contractors, and it does not price, approve, decide or guarantee any outcome. Every entry that becomes a fact of record is confirmed and attributed to a human; Draft AI only drafts and structures.
3. Your data and the record
The customer (the vessel side) owns their record. Draft acts as custodian and processor, holding a licence to host and process the record, and to use de-identified, aggregated data to improve the product. Draft does not own individual vessels’ records.
You may export your record at any time, free of charge, including on exit. On a verified change of ownership, custody of the record transfers to the new owner.
4. Contractor guests
Contractors access only their own package and never see project finances. By continuing past the contractor invitation, a contractor represents they have the right to upload what they upload and grants the vessel side a licence to the materials they provide.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to access data you are not authorised to, or upload unlawful content or content you have no right to share.
6. Liability
Draft is provided on an “as is” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Draft’s aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid, and Draft is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
7. Jurisdiction
Draft is offered under US law and is intended for use outside the EU. The service is not currently offered to EU-based users or EU-flagged vessels.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified. Questions about these terms: noah@draftyachting.com.
